Photo Diary: Pisa

We spent our first wedding anniversary in Tuscany. From Berlin (Germany) you can only fly to Tuscany, though there are only a few airports. As we chose Pisa as destination, we had an afternoon to spend in the famous Tuscan city. We didn’t do anything special there, but strolled through the alleyways, had an Aperol Spritz here for refreshment, ate pasta there and enjoyed the smells, colours and flair of the small city. Pisa is perfect for a half-day trip, as everything is within walking distance (You better leave the car far outside the city)! The city stroll ended at the Piazza dei Miracoli in front of the famous Leaning Tower of Pisa, at sunset. The first day in Tuscany was picture perfect, really.

We had delicious ice cream at Gelateria Orso Bianco in Piazza Dante Alighieri.
