Chasing Sunset Magic: The 17-Mile Drive
Nestled along the mesmerizing California coast lies a road that’s more than just a drive – it’s an experience. Recently, I embarked on the iconic 17 Mile Drive, camera in hand, ready to capture its natural beauty and share it with the world.
After our absolutely fabulous weekend in Carmel and an exhilarating hike at Point Lobos, we couldn’t resist adding the Seventeen-Mile Drive to our adventure list. Sure, it’s a bit of a touristy hotspot, but trust me, it’s worth every moment! The drive takes you through the exclusive grounds of the luxurious Del Monte Forest Community, where they kindly ask for a $12 fee per car for the pleasure of exploring their stunning property. But let me tell you, the views you get in return are simply priceless!
