Singapore Diaries: Ready to rise again
I don’t see our adventure abroad being over yet, but I do have the feeling that our time in Singapore is coming to an end. It’s just enough.
Enough time without seeing any friend or family from home. Enough time in humid and warm conditions all year around. Enough time of control, limited movement, and literally no freedom at all. Enough suffering and anxieties spending a worldwide pandemic and crisis in a foreign country, land, and culture.
And, for what it’s worth –– Enough time spent in countless restaurants and bars just for the sake of the possibility.
It’s time. We’re ready to rise again!
