Island Center Point | A Hotel Review
If you’re looking for a slice of paradise on your next vacation, Island Center Point on Koh Rong Sanloem is the place to be. I recently stayed at this charming hotel and here’s why I think it’s a fantastic choice for anyone visiting this beautiful Cambodian island.
Before diving into the enchanting experience at Island Center Point, let’s cover some essential details. This lovely hotel is located on the beautiful island of Koh Rong Sanloem, a hidden gem off the coast of Cambodia. Known for its pristine beaches, crystal-clear waters, and peaceful atmosphere, Koh Rong Sanloem offers a perfect escape from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. Island Center Point, tucked away in a quieter part of the island, has a wonderful beachfront location, providing guests with stunning views and a serene ambiance.
Perfect Location
Island Center Point is situated directly on the beach, allowing you to take just a few steps to reach the pristine, crystal-clear waters and the soft, white sand. The hotel is located in a serene and tranquil area of the island, providing an ideal setting for relaxation and the enjoyment of peaceful surroundings.

Accessing Island Center Point is a breeze, with its proximity to the Saracen Bay ferry pier ensuring convenient arrival and departure. While plans are underway for the hotel’s private boat service from Kompong Som (Sihanoukville), guests can rely on reputable ferry lines for seamless transit to the island.

Suites & Villas
Island Center Point offers a variety of cozy retreats and lavish escapes, ensuring there’s something for every kind of traveler. From the snug charm of the Superior Double rooms to the spacious elegance of the Deluxe Double and Deluxe Twin options, comfort is always paramount. My stay at the stunning Deluxe Seaview room was an absolute delight. With its panoramic ocean vistas and outdoor bathroom featuring a stylish bathtub (which, let’s be real, looked super fancy though I couldn’t quite figure out a situation where I’d ever need it), it was a luxurious treat that made my island getaway extra special.
For those seeking even more space and privacy, the Family Villa offers a generous retreat complete with two separate bedrooms, two double bathrooms, and a sprawling terrace—an ideal choice for families or groups of friends looking for a sea retreat like no other.

Food & Beverage Options
The food and drinks at Island Center Point were a delightful surprise. Considering the remote island location in Cambodia, the quality of the meals was excellent. Breakfast is included in the price of your stay, and you can choose from a variety of international and Cambodian/Asian dishes. I particularly enjoyed the Tom Kha Gai soup with seafood, which I had every day—it was that good! I’m not sure what they call it specifically, but it was a delicious and comforting dish that made my meals special.
For lunch and dinner, the meals are reasonably priced at around $8 per meal. The restaurant serves a range of dishes, and dining with a view of the ocean was a real treat. I’m very thankful for the culinary team at Island Center Point for providing such tasty and satisfying meals, which truly enhanced my stay.
Service & Activities
The staff at Island Center Point were exemplary, epitomizing warmth and professionalism throughout my stay. Their friendly demeanor and local insights enhanced my experience, ensuring memorable moments and seamless arrangements. While I spent most of my time lounging by the beach and immersing myself in the tranquil ambiance, the hotel offers a range of activities for those seeking adventure or relaxation.

Overall Experience
Island Center Point was everything I hoped for and more. Its great location, cozy rooms, excellent amenities, and wonderful staff made my stay unforgettable. Whether you’re looking for adventure or just want to chill out, this hotel is the perfect place to stay on Koh Rong Sanloem.
I highly recommend Island Center Point to anyone planning a trip to Koh Rong Sanloem. In fact, this is the only hotel I would recommend on the island. It’s a hidden gem that offers the perfect mix of natural beauty, comfort, and warm hospitality. And while there’s no pool, the stunning beach and clear waters more than makeup for it.
