Due to a challenge on Instagram called #thegermanauswanderer2020, there are many new readers on this blog! Hello, and welcome you guys!
I founded this expat and travel blog a few years ago when my husband and I were traveling a lot. With the blog, I created a space where I could collect all the pictures I took during our trips, but also share my experiences and tips with other travelers.
In 2019, we received an offer to move to Singapore. Since then, we also have used to blog to tell about our experiences as Germans living abroad as Expats. We started this in German, but since we also receive more questions from international people and at the same time make new relationships in Singapore, we started translation the essential topics from our Expat Diary. To maintain the chronological order, some of the posts will be posted back-dated, so it makes sense for you to look into past months from time to time.
There is a search field and also an archive in the sidebar (—>), however, that you can use to search for specific subjects.
I hope this blog will bring both value and inspiration. Please don’t hesitate to reach out to me whenever you have questions regarding our moving process or our experiences in living abroad, or if you would like me to cover a topic, you miss so far. I am happy to help!
